Makrygialos or Long Beach is situated on the south coast about twentyfive minutes by car down the mountain from The Lemon Tree. This is a long
stretch of sandy beach with the seas waves gently lapping at the shore or on windier days watch the waves and the surfers who have come down to take advantage of the sea.

The shallow waters are ideal for all ages and there are many varied bars and restaurants which frame the beach where you can sit and let your feet feel the sand. This is a lovely place to sit and relax or play in the water or you can take advantage of the restaurants and tavernas where all foods can be found or stroll around the different beach and gift shops.
