The Lemon Tree

At The Lemon Tree we are a small independent restaurant situated on a mountain plateau in East Crete, between Sitia and Makrigialos, serving beautiful, creative flavoursome food. We set The Lemon Tree up from scratch, living on site through the renovation project to create a place of food fantasy and a moment in peace from your busy life, where you can refresh and replenish your senses.

Food is cooked with love and care. During the summer food is served outside on the garden patio under fruit trees in the shadow of the mountains and the shade of the vines and pergola. We have a delightful indoor restaurant with traditional fireplace, open kitchen and stunning stone arch.
